STARNO contributed to several matte painting sequences for Season 1 of The Morning Show, the acclaimed Apple TV+ series. Our work included a variety of digital environment enhancements featured in the early episodes of the season, particularly during the scenes in which Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon) visits a quarry for an interview — a pivotal moment that leads to her being noticed and appreciated by the team at The Morning Show.
The quarry environment was significantly extended across multiple shots to enhance its scale and overall visual impact. Additional matte paintings were created for nighttime sequences involving Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston), including scenes where she arrives, under heavy rain, at the home of her former colleague Mitch Kessler (Steve Carell).
These enhancements helped reinforce the atmosphere and narrative tone of the series, blending seamlessly into the show's high-quality cinematography.
