LIDO DE PARIS – ELEVATED GLAMOUR: THE ROOFTOP CAMPAIGN

WORK DESCRIPTION:

STARNO.net was commissioned to create a high-end advertising campaign for the legendary Lido de Paris, the world-renowned cabaret synonymous with Parisian elegance on the Champs-Élysées. Competing in prestige with icons like the Moulin Rouge, the Lido required a visual identity that captured both its historical grandeur and its modern "Paris Merveilles" spirit.

Our studio specialized in creating the stunning Matte Painting environments that placed the cabaret's famous Bluebell Girls high above the city. We meticulously reconstructed the iconic Haussmann-style rooftops of Paris, providing a breathtaking 360-degree perspective with the Eiffel Tower as the central atmospheric anchor. The challenge lay in achieving a perfect balance between the realistic architectural height and a dreamlike, "magical hour" lighting that reflects the cabaret's nighttime allure.

In addition to the print posters, we developed a series of Cinemagraphs—a sophisticated technique of "living photography" where subtle, seamless motions (such as the flicker of city lights or the movement of a dancer’s feathers) bring a static image to life. These assets were designed to create an immersive, hypnotic experience for digital displays across the French capital.

CAMPAIGN BACKGROUND:

The objective of this campaign was to reposition the Lido de Paris as the ultimate destination for "Parisian Wonders." By taking the show out of the theater and onto the rooftops, we highlighted the deep connection between the cabaret and the architecture of the City of Light.

This project stands as a major success for STARNO.net, demonstrating our ability to deliver complex environment extensions and cinematic motion assets for the luxury and entertainment industry. Recreating Paris from such a specific, elevated vantage point required absolute precision in perspective and texture work—a challenge we met with a result that is as prestigious as the venue it promotes.
